Step out of Geysir with an excursion to Thingvellir National Park in Thingvellir--about 52 minutes away. There's still lots to do: take in the natural beauty of Strokkur, take in the dramatic scenery at Gullfoss Falls, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Skalholt Cathedral.
