Onna-son

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
Step out of the city life by going to Scuba & Snorkeling and Akabaka Beach. Get out of town with these interesting Onna-son side-trips: Fukugawa Falls (in Nago), Ie-son (GI Beach & Iejima Beach Side Horse Park) and Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium (in Motobu-cho). And it doesn't end there: explore the striking landscape at Cape Manzamo, enjoy the sand and surf at Diamond Beach, identify plant and animal life at Gallirallus Okinawae Learning Center, and add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour.

The castle around which the city of Himeji has developed represents one of the best preserved in the country, and has been designated as a national treasure and a World Heritage Site.
Visit Himeji Castle and Otabu Gyoko Genroku Bohatei for their historical value. Escape the urban bustle at Hattoji Furusatomura and Mt. Kuma. Step out of Himeji with an excursion to FAN Museum in Bizen--about 1h 20 min away. The adventure continues: hike along Mt Shosha hiking, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mt. Takamikura, steep yourself in history at Yoneda Taishiji Temple, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Ishino Hoden Oishi Shrine.
