    Spiral column and star-shaped mosaics... we can find Ulgbek style in this monument. It is partially damaged, however, it represents its history.  more »

    A very dramatic architecture. Very imposing and the small shops inside make it a very lively place.

    Oldest Medressah in Central Asia. Built in 1417, it became model to many others. This one is one of the three that were built by Olugbek. The other two are found at Gijduvan and in Samarkand. It was bombed by the Soviets in 1920s.
